Meadham Kirchnoff

In my steps to progressing towards the status of a ‘fan’ in regards to the Meadham Kirchnoff brand, I suddenly tripped over a rock after his Autumn/Winter 2010 collection came flooding down the runway at London Fashion Week. This season the designer chose to go for some type of Arabic or Gypsee theme which included veils, some floral patterns, hidious open toe sandles and wait for it…WITH SOCKS! It just wasn’t doing it for me. Let’s hope I get off the ground when Kirchnoff debuts his S/S 2011 Collection.

*Fingers crossed*

Richard Nicoll

More Veils but just better. Richard Nicoll impressed me with his fine work at LFW. The pieces from the collection were light, airy and flowed as the models walked down the catwalk. Most importantly these clothes would photograph fantastic outside or in a studio with a touch of wind. The colour pallet was good also, I felt the peach stood nice by itself along with sienna, the black and grey can never go wrong and THAT BLUE! Soo rich in colour with a velvet material. This collection was by far his most sophisicated.

Smiles all around 🙂

Jaeger London

I am feeling the direction that Jaeger London have gone with. It possessed a Chloe’eque feel with the browns, baige and velvet materials which I fell in love with. I really like the oversize structured jacket that came out first down the runway alongside the high waists, waist belts and boyish blazers which are a hot trend this year; finely presented by REISS! I think i’ve spotted a trend without conducting research.muwhahaha .Velvet is definately in!

Good Job Jaeger London

Mary Katrantzou

I’m late with this post but I have become a huge fan of Mary Katrantzou ever since I saw Jourdan Dunn walk down the runway in her dress. The colours and patterns were magnificant (really they were). The patterns & prints, lace and frills in random places worked so well. The picture on the below depicts what im talking about perfectly. The kneck collar and long sleeves give it a classic look with the belt around the waist to show off the silhouette. Seriously, Ive become such a big fan over these two past seasons.

She is the shit!
