Natalia Vodianova Live Vogue shoot

Posted by mckayn1 on November 23, 2009

Supermodel Natalia Vodianova gave a stunning yet surreal performance on November 5th-6th at the SHOWStudio Fashion Revolution exhibition at Somerset House. The main attraction on the day was the live Vogue cover shoot for the 2010 February issue which attracted many people who paid an entry fee of just £5 “Bargain!”

Natalia Show Studio

Ranked 5th largest model icon in the world (models.com, 2009); a desirable position underneath the likes of Gisele Bundchen and Kate Moss; Mrs Vodianova truly embodied the essence of a supermodel in her movement, aura, vibrant persona and ultimately striking beauty. The shoot was shot by world renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight who changed my perception on visual art as a whole with his creativity.

Although there are many other helping hands in the process of a photo-shoot (i.e. make-up artist, stylist), there was undoubtedly a strong personal rapport between the photographer and model.

He directed, she moved.

He spoke, she listened.

She absorbed every detail given and delivered like a supermodel should.

Pure Genius.
